Rose has experience in both school and clinical settings working with individuals, children, and families who present with a history of trauma and/or are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, grief, parenting challenges or other family transitions. She enjoys learning about the individual in the context of their family and community system.
Rose’s counseling approach is warm, empathetic, and holistic. She feels that it’s important to be seen and heard as you are. Rose takes an active approach to develop collaborative relationships with clients to explore solutions to problems.
Rose helps clients develop more positive thinking patterns and learn skills that can serve as lifelong tools. In her work, Rose utilizes methods from TEAM-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness.
